Chardonnay and Austria are a surprisingly good couple. In the warm Neusiedlersee, winegrower Dani makes a surprisingly rich, aromatic version, full of stone fruit and exactly the creamy finish of all your chardonnay dreams.

About the winemaker

"It was my grandfather who decided to grow grapes instead of sugar beets. My father further expanded the company with a clear vision: “Less is more”. He firmly believed that top quality grapes needed little help to produce good wines. Now that I am at the helm as the third generation, I will continue his approach with conviction.”

Burgenland, Austria
The Neusiedlersee wine region is located in Burgenland, as the name suggests, near the idyllic Neusiedlersee lake. It is one of the most important parts of the Burgenland wine region, including the famous wine village of Gols. Due to the long growing season with dry summers and cold winters, the vines grow in a favorable climate. The high humidity creates ideal conditions for the noble rot required in the production of dessert wines. Yet the majority of the vineyards are full of the red Zweigelt grape. Which produces very fruity wines here. But with more than 300 sunny days a year, the climate is also ideal for the chardonnay grape, for example, which produces surprisingly aromatic wines here.

Smooth and well-balanced, the Adrian Chardonnay offers notes of ripe apple, citrus, and a touch of vanilla. Lightly oaked with a creamy finish, it’s easy to enjoy on its own or with seafood and poultry. A solid, easy-drinking choice.
