About the winemaker
“After making wine in Latin America and, of course, in my home country of Spain, I embarked on my most ambitious project to date with Timbrus. My goal is to put Moldova on the map as a wine-producing country, and Timbrus is primarily focused on the international market. Of course, the most important thing is to make quality wine. It starts with choosing the grape varieties; we mainly use Eastern European grapes that reflect the terroir of Moldova.”

Great red that goed well with padta and risotto. Had hoped it woulf be more full bodied. 4/5
Fijne wijn, ronde tannines, mooie balans, lange afdronk.
Zeer mooie wijn en zeker voor de prijs. Maak kennis met oost Europa. Druif met potentie zoals de kenners zeggen. Wat voor mij overheerst is rood fruit, naarmate de wijn wat meer zuurstof kreeg kwam laurier ook naar voren. Mooi rond mondgevoel, niet hoog in zijn zuren, gemiddelde afdronk en mooi in balans.
Veel alcohol en toch ook smaak die blijft. Hele goede prijs kwaliteit
