About the winemaker

“Terre des 2 Sources originated from the collaboration of two couples, each sharing a similar dream: finding the right land and environment to create exceptional wines. My husband is from the US, and I am from New Zealand, with our partner Helene from France. Together, we produce wines on the South French soil, with South French grapes, crafting South French wines with a new world twist"

This really does smell like plum cake, top loaded with cooked berries and chocolate. The fruit is dark red, glossy and bursting with sweet acidity, although it has a lovely long edge of tapenade and thyme to hold it in check. And yes, the chocolate is there, right on the end. Perfectly proportioned tannins, smoothly holding the balance, like a gymnast on the bar

Terrasses du Larzac is a wine region that should not be overlooked. Although the image is of mostly heavy wines, this is the place in the south of France for real wine adventurers to discover the treasures of the wine world. This region is known for its terraced vineyards, located on the slopes of the stately Larzac massif. The terroir is rich and diverse with both pebbly and calcareous soils and a Mediterranean climate. Perfect for viticulture! Here you will still find many old vines, which means the concentration in the wines is high, but the yields are low. In recent years, a new generation of winemakers has emerged who make wines full of elegance and fruit. Thanks to their efforts, it is now perhaps one of the most exciting wine regions in France.

Wow…de eerste van de zes rode wijnen die ik probeerde bij Grapedistrict die me direct bevalt. Heerlijk. Mooi rond van smaak.
