About the wines
Gutedel is a typical grape variety from Germany's Baden region. It combines pleasant spiciness with beautiful minerality and soft stone fruit, making it an ideal match for cheese fondue and white asparagus. From Spain, the box includes the Tandem Inmacula. Winemaker Alicia takes a different approach and has planted viognier in Spain. Together with viura, she creates a wine full of apricot and nutty flavors, rich in taste. Next, we head to Austria with the chardonnay from winemaker Daniel. In the warm Neusiedlersee region, he produces a surprisingly rich, aromatic version—full of stone fruit and delivering exactly the creamy finish of your chardonnay dreams. Now, on to the red wines. We start with the Schieber Bikavér from winemaker Joseph. In Hungary, he crafts a truly bold, oak-aged wine packed with dark fruit and a pleasantly peppery finish. The same goes for Ju de Vie Rouge from winemaker Julien. He creates a distinctive Châteauneuf-du-Pape-style blend bursting with dark fruit and ripe tannins. We finish the box with Nero di Troia from Terrecarsiche. Beneath the vineyards of this winery in Puglia, Italy, lie natural tunnels rich in minerals, giving the wine not only lush fruitiness but also refreshing vibrancy.
