About the wines
In this tasting box, you’ll find true “Grape Classics.” What better way to start than with winemaker Gerhard’s grüner veltliner from Austria’s Kamptal region. Here, he creates a surprisingly fresh wine that’s perfect for social gatherings and pairs well with light appetizers. Next, we head to the winemakers and friends at Verus, who craft an expressive sauvignon blanc, brimming with fresh minerality, citrus, and hints of tropical fruit. The final white wine is the Catalan Eagle Terra Alta Branco from Spain, by winemaker Pepe.
For the red wines, we start in Spain with winemaker Maria, who produces a bold monastrell in the hot Jumilla region. We then move on to Portugal, where winemaker Pedro demonstrates that traditional, indigenous grape varieties can create wines of global appeal. We wrap up the box with Soif Art Rouge by winemaker Oliver, a wine bursting with ripe strawberries, black cherries, cassis, and fine herbs.
