About the winemaker
“My family has been growing wine grapes for over 200 years. However, it was my father, Armando, who decided in 1977 to stop selling the grapes to the local cooperative and start making wine under our own name. The company is located in "Navesel," an old port on the Adige River, just southwest of Rovereto in Vallagarina. Thanks to the valley floor and the river dam, fertile land has been created. The vineyards have found an ideal environment to develop and produce high-quality grapes.”

Trentino, Italy
When going on vacation in Italy, you can't miss Trentino as it houses the famous Brenner Pass. However, not everyone may know that the "Strada dei Vini" is found here. It's a long string of vineyards that stretches from Bolzano to Trentino. Here, it's sunny about 300 days a year, and with an average temperature of 18 degrees, surprisingly warm. The steep mountain slopes are not only beautiful but also very fertile, allowing the grapes to make the most of the abundant sunshine. The temperature difference between day and night gives the grapes their unique flavor. In terms of winemaking, it's a very traditional area where many farmers still sell their grapes to local cooperatives. Fortunately, there are also some independent winemakers who demonstrate how beautiful the wines from this region can be!
