About the winemaker
“After the death of my father Ben, who grew grapes on a small scale, I took over the management of his farm at the age of 16. This farm has now grown into the current Schild Estate and grows an enormous variety of grapes here, from shiraz to riesling. My children Michael and Leanne now work here as head winemaker and logistics manager, so I don't have to worry about my succession!”

Bijzonder lekkere rode bubbel, even wennen, maar absoluut aangenaam.

Iets te veel aarde smaak .... alleen als ie ijskoud is, is deze te doen. Eigenlijk alleen lekker als je er ijsklontje bij doet ... en dat is zonde bij een dergelijke shiraz. Heb zeker beter gedronken voor zelfde of mindere prijs.
