Sadi Malot Champagne Grand Cru Les Goisses
Champagne, France
Pinot noir
For her most unique champagne, Cindy uses only pinot noir grapes from the 2020 vintage and matures them in concrete egg-shaped vats. The result is a gastronomic champagne full of minerals, pepper and subtle red fruit.

About the winemaker
“I am now the 5th generation of Malot at the helm of this winery. Fortunately, my husband and I still receive solicited and unsolicited advice from my father Franck. Fortunately, not everything is the same as it was in 1883. For example, we now cultivate our vineyards completely organically. We believe that this method is the key to making even better champagnes.”

Champagne, France
Winegrowers all over the world try to copy the style of the Champagne region, but that is impossible. The thick layer of chalk on which the grapes grow gives Champagne its unique, mineral character. This subsoil also retains heat well, which allows the grapes to ripen well. The most common grape varieties in Champagne are Chardonnay (white), Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier (both blue). The Sadi Malot winery is located in the so-called Montagne de Reims, the area par excellence for the very best Pinot Noirs.
