About the winemaker
“After an evening of discussions, dreams and many glasses of wine, we decided to make wine together. We both aim to convey the pleasure we experience with wine. We do not want to make wines that need to age for a long time, but are already very attractive in their youth. For example, we mature our Condrieu 1/3 in stainless steel barrels, 1/3 in oak barrels and 1/3 in new barrels to preserve extra freshness in the wine.”

Rhone, France
The Rhône valley can be divided into two parts. The southern and northern parts. Although wines from the southern part are very popular in the Netherlands, experts agree: some of the best wines in the world are produced in the northern Rhône. Saint Joseph is the largest appellation in this area. This is mainly because it is very extensive and both white and red can be made under this name. Saint-Joseph's best vineyards are located in the north on granite soils, right in the epic center of the Northern Rhône. This also applies to the vineyards of Justin and Sylvain. The vineyards here are laid out on extremely steep slopes along the Rhône River. Wines from this part are more complex and richer in taste. It is not without reason that the French say: “Syrah loves a view”.
