About the winemaker

Peninsula de Setúbal is the birthplace of Jose Mourinho, a.k.a. the special one. We suspect that he fell into a barrel of Lista Negra Rosé in his youth, which would further explain his character: temperamental, stubborn, versatile, seductive and precise. Basically everything you're looking for in a rosé, or a football coach.

Setúbal, Portugal
South of Lisbon is the Setúbal peninsula. An enormous amount of indigenous grapes grow here, which can also be found in this rosé. The castelão is a versatile red grape that is mainly planted in the southern coastal regions of Portugal. Here it thrives on the poor sandy bottoms and develops a lush fruit flavor and a meaty body. Aragonez is the Portuguese name for the Tempranillo known from Spain, an outspoken grape, sultry cherries and a spicy character.
