Côtes de Gascogne is a wine-growing region in what they call the Sud-Ouest in France. In the Gascogne they produces mainly white wine. This Gascogne wine consists of 60% colombard, 20% gros manseng and 20% sauvignon blanc. The colombard gives the wine its fruity character and the gros manseng contributes to its intense aroma. The unsurpassed sauvignon blanc adds freshness and minerality. The soil of the vineyards in Gascogne consists of clay and shells, this soil contributes to the minerality and freshness of the wine.

Een heerlijke wijn, sauvignon blanc met een zuurtje er in waardoor je de andere druiven goed proeft. Zachte lichte wijn. Al met al heerlijk! En vaak uitverkocht dus ik ben niet de enige met deze mening! :-)
