About the winemaker
For over 50 years, the three of us have been working with the same Verdejo grape. Each of us brothers has his own specialty: Jaime takes care of the vineyards, Eustaquio is the boss in the cellar and Juan Antonio is responsible for the administration. They complement each other and form a close team.

Rueda, Spain
The landscape in Castilla y León is not very exciting and is mainly characterized by undulating plateaus with lots of grain and the occasional flock of sheep. The town of Rueda, on the other hand, is far from boring and is known for its fruity wines. The Verdejo grapes are picked at night when the temperature has dropped to 10 to 15 degrees. Due to the lack of light, there is less chance of oxidation of the grape, which means that the freshness is well preserved. In addition to being fresh, the taste of the Verdejo is characterized by the smell of citrus and the taste of pears, with a slightly bitter undertone.

Smaakt absoluut niet naar Verdejo, wrang, vies. Kleur als van sherry. Miskoop.
