About the winemaker

"Bellevue means something like 'beautiful view', and you'll see that they haven't lied when you are standing in our vineyards. As far as you can see you see rolling hills covered with vineyards and small castles. Our vineyards are on soils of limestone and flint, which explains the fresh and mineral Loire touch of our wines.”
Raphael midoir

Proefnotitie
"The Loire Valley is full of old noble country houses, ludicrous wine chateaus, but above all breathtaking vineyards that stretch as far as the horizon. Actually, it's not that far from our small country. So hey! Think of the Loire if you don't have any holiday plans yet and are looking for an adventure, history and wonderful wine!"

Loire, France
Touraine is a vast wine region in the central part of the Loire Valley. The vineyards, totaling almost 6000 hectares, are located around the city of Tours. In addition to white, red wines and rosé are also produced. Sauvignon Blanc and Chenin Blanc are used for white wine. In the Loire Valley, the Sauvignon Blanc wines of Sancerre, Pouilly-Fumé and Menetou-Salon are the most famous. These wines have a stricter character than the Sauvignons from Touraine because more emphasis is placed on terroir. Irreverently, you could call this Touraine an entry-level Sancerre. We are talking about a soft, fruity and accessible variant for about half the price. That does sound respectable.
